Finnvedens Lastvagnar is now a certified installer of solar panel solutions

Finnvedens Lastvagnar – truck – top

Sweden’s largest private dealer of Volvo Trucks, Finnvedens Lastvagnar, can now reduce its customers’ footprint with solar energy

From the moment the customer buys a vehicle from Finnvedens Lastvagnar, and throughout the rest of its lifecycle, they are there, contributing with the latest knowledge, state-of-the-art equipment and recycling technology; all with the aim of leaving as small a footprint as possible and thereby contributing to a sustainable environment for future generations.

This was also the case when Skoogs Åkeri & Logistik AB approached Finnvedens Lastvagnar when it was time to expand their fleet with a biogas-powered Volvo, but to go all the way and take another step towards reducing the environmental impact of their transport and meeting international emission targets, the collaboration with Green Energy began.

Finnvedens Lastvagnar’s first installation of a solar solution on Skoogs newly delivered Volvo.

“To take steps towards more climate-friendly alternatives and reduce our customers’ carbon footprint, we are now a certified installer of solar solutions. The benefits of this solution we can now offer our customers are many, in addition to operational and financial benefits, the solution also ensures better conditions for drivers and truck owners, as they can use many of the vehicle’s functions without having to worry about a discharged battery and the costs that can come with it,” says Shahin Khajebahri, Service Manager at Finnvedens Lastvagnar Ängelholm.

“Any new technology that is developed to both optimise and streamline haulage operations and pave the way for a greener future is something worth investing in. This is also why we have invested in this certification and expect to certify more of our workshops to enable this solution for more of our customers,” concludes Shahin Khajebahri.

We congratulate Finnvedens Lastvagnar on the certification and look forward to a long and successful co-operation with a common green mission.
